Patient.com Partners with ID.me to Give Patients One Portable, Verified Identity

Patient.com is partnering with ID.me to build identity verification into account setup, giving patients one verified profile they control. ID.me is the first partner in the Patient.com ecosystem.

Patient.com announced a partnership with ID.me to build identity verification into Patient.com account setup. ID.me is the first partner in the ecosystem Patient.com is building with providers, employers and partners to cut the red tape in healthcare.

What the partnership means

  • New users verify who they are with ID.me when they create a Patient.com account
  • Patients get one verified profile they can use beyond any single provider’s portal
  • ID.me handles identity only. It does not receive or view benefits, insurance or cost information
  • Patients choose when to share their verified profile with participating providers, which cuts down on repeat intake forms
  • Partners can trust that authorizations come from the patient

“Trust cannot be something we add after the fact.”

Dan Johnson, CEO, Patient.com
